Welcome!
We're a Colorado social group loosely organized around the FIRE community (Financial Independence Retire Early), although mainly that's just an excuse to meet interesting, thoughtful new people.
Because of this, our events are pretty varied and random in theme. But in general we tend to do things that are positive and healthy for both us and for the world at large. Come out and join the conversation!

Note: this group is a strictly non-commercial place for the free exchange of ideas. To serve that purpose, all members have access to a group-wide discussion board and other tools to foster open communication. 🎁 Volunteer Event MMM HQ - Love for Lily
MMM HQ Coworking, 712 Main St, Longmont, CO, USThere's a charity that's near and dear to my heart after having many friends and family members who had a little one in the NICU. Love for Lily, a Colorado-based nonprofit dedicated to providing social and emotional support to families navigating the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Love for Lily:
While NICU babies receive world-class medical care, their parents often face the journey alone, filled with immense stress and emotional challenges. Love for Lily provides essentials and support to parents during these trying times.What We'll Do on Volunteer Day:
We will fill Essentials Bags to be distributed to NICU families. We fill them with snacks, a children's book, a toothbrush and other essentials.No need to bring anything, all of the supplies will be provided to us and we simply fill the bag. We are currently the fastest bag fillers that Love for Lily has! Carl is also buying us lunch!

Coffee & Community at East Simpson

Everyone is welcome, no matter where on the path you are. We’ll kick things off with some informal social time to connect and get to know one another, followed by a group discussion shaped by the questions that come up. You’re welcome to bring your own question—about financial independence or any other topic you’d like to explore—or simply listen, learn, and join in as you feel comfortable.
Please note: The coffee shop kindly hosts us with the expectation that each attendee makes a purchase. Please plan accordingly.
