Your Activity
Sunrise at Mount Batur
Your day starts early with a calm drive up to one of Bali’s best sunrise viewpoints. As the first light appears over Mount Batur and the lake below, you’ll enjoy the cool, fresh Kintamani air without the crowds. A simple breakfast, pastry, and warm drink will be served at a local café facing the sunrise — the perfect spot to relax and ease into the day.
Coffee Farm Visit & Tasting
Next, you'll visit a small coffee farm in Gunungbau led by Bli Wana, a dedicated local coffee processor. Walk among the coffee trees, feel the soil, and see firsthand how Kintamani coffee gets its bright, citrusy character from its altitude and fertile land.
Bli Wana will guide you through their growing, harvesting, and roasting process, and you can ask anything you’ve ever wanted to know about coffee. Before heading back, you’ll take home a small bag of roasted beans, a little piece of Gunungbau to brew at home.
Our Impact
The People Behind the Coffee
The coffee farm in Gunungbau is run by Bli Wana and his family, who have cared for this land for generations. By joining the trip, you directly support their livelihood and help preserve their coffee tradition for the future.
Empowering Farmers Through Tourism
Tourism can give back, not just take. By welcoming visitors, Kintamani’s coffee producers share their stories and traditions directly with travelers. Each trip contributes to fair income, community development, and environmental sustainability.1 attendee - $65.00
