About us
Looking to make new friends in the LGBT community? Are you a couple looking to expand your friendship circle? Do you just want to meet new people? This is an all inclusive group for members of the LGBT community in Northamptonshire. Activities will include evenings in the pub, cinema trips, nights out and LGBT events, and anything else the group wants to do! Hope to see you all soon!

- We accept everyone regardless of how they identify.
- 18+ only - the group doesn't have the facilities to be responsible for people under 18.

QFilm is a group for LGBTQIA film-lovers that has been running in Northampton since 2014 (and is now run under the QStory umbrella). We meet up once or twice a month to watch queer-themed films at the Northampton Filmhouse then move on to a nearby venue to discuss what we thought of it. Daughter to the flamboyant lesbian Queens of Planet Clitopolis, introverted Princess Saira is devastated when her bounty-hunter girlfriend, Kiki, suddenly breaks up with her for being too needy.
After Kiki is kidnapped by forgotten incels of the future, the Straight White Maliens, Saira must leave the comforts of gay space to deliver their ransom: her royal labrys (the most powerful weapon known to lesbian kind). Only problem is… she doesn’t have it!
With just a 24-hour window to get her labrys and save Kiki, Princess Saira finds herself on an inter-gay-lactic journey of self-discovery that includes encounters with a problematic spaceship and a new-found friendship with gay-pop runaway Willow.

Set in rural Maharashtra, Cactus Pears follows Anand, a Mumbai call-centre worker who returns to his ancestral village to observe the ten-day mourning ritual following his father’s death.
While navigating the pressures of family expectations and marriage, he reconnects with Balya, a childhood friend facing similar struggles.
Over the course of the mourning period, their bond deepens into a tender and intimate relationship, creating a quiet exploration of grief, identity and queer love within a traditional rural community.
