Celebration for the New Year 2026

Join us in Monmouth County for Drinks & Bar Food @ Tommy's Tavern Sports Bar, Restaurant & Pizzeria to kick off NEW YEARS 2026.

This is one of (3) chains in NJ, and its' right across the street from the Ocean in Sea Bright. It has a large bar & restaurant; including an outdoor deck & patio overlooking the Navesink. Many of you may know this place. I have been there several times, and the food is excellent. This is just an event to get out and hang out for an evening to "kick-off" the New Year

NOTE: We will be meeting up at the bar to ensure we can make sure everyone get's separate tabs, if able. There will be no sharing of tabs. Also, I am making the attendee limit for this event 20 MAX to try to get as many of us at the bar as possible, so RSVP accordingly.

Crushed Rock is back!!

Join us for some good food & entertainment with 'Crushed Rock" @ Nip N Tuck Bar & Grill in Long Branch, NJ. They are a local band from Monmouth County that play up nostalgic songs and tunes from all your favorite classic rock rocks artists from the 70's, and 80's-90's up til today. I hosted this event back in the Summer of 2023, and it rocked and we had a lot of fun.

Nip N Tuck is a local neighborhood bar that has been there for many years. They have some great cocktails, craft beer, good food, and they have the atmosphere & entertainment to back it up. They have updated and renovated the place over the years, so it looks great. There should be plenty of parking on the street or cross-street depending on where you are located.

They have an outdoor patio for drinks/food in the summer months. I will include a link to the location so you can see their web page, menu, and their history. I also included a link to the crushed rock web page link so you can see what their all about.

Never too soon to think about Spring.

Join us for a Spring Fitness Hike in a local park in March 2026. Weather permitting. Some or most of you have heard of this Park. It’s located right in Matawan. This will be a Basic Beginner/Intermediate On/Off Trail Fitness Hike on some roads and colored trails. If you have never hiked before, this hike will be a good starting point for you. It has flat/hill terrain. The more intermediate/advanced hikers, this will be very easy for you. The approximate distance is roughly 4-6/mi. We have done this many times, so most of you should be familiar from past meetups.

The address is 300 Gordon Road, Matawan, NJ. You should find it without a problem on most GPS apps. I recommend using the WAZE app.

We will meet at the lake parking lot. (Hooks Lake)There is plenty of parking there.

We can go for lunch @ the Pine Tavern on Route 34 after if anyone is interested and it is optional We can just meet up at the bar for drinks & lunch.

Cheesequake State Park’s uniqueness lies in its geographical location.
