About us
A space for parents who care about how they spend their time to connect, talk, and support each other through real life.
If you’re a parent, you already know…
Life is fast.
Between work, family, responsibilities, and everything in between, it can feel like there’s always something pulling at your time and attention, and in the meantime, dreams get put on hold, and our kids grow up before we know it.
This group is simply a place to slow that down for a bit.
What this group is
✅ A casual, welcoming space where parents can:
👉🏼 meet other parents in the area
👉🏼 have real conversations about life, work, business and family
👉🏼 share experiences (the good, the messy, and everything in between)
👉🏼 connect with people who are thinking about how they want their time, work, and life to fit together
No pressure.
No expectations.
No need to have anything “figured out.”
What we do
✅ We keep things simple and relaxed.
👉🏼 Small group conversations
👉🏼 Casual meetups and hangouts
👉🏼 Open discussions around everyday topics
👉🏼 Occasional guest perspectives and shared experiences
✅ Some conversations naturally touch on things like:
👉🏼 work and career paths
👉🏼 business and side projects
👉🏼 time, flexibility, and how people are structuring their lives
👉🏼 what’s working (and what’s not) in this season
Nothing formal.
Just real conversations.
Who this is for
✅ Parents who want:
👉🏼 connection
👉🏼 conversation
👉🏼 and a space where they don’t have to explain everything
✅ Especially if you’ve ever found yourself thinking about:
👉🏼 how your time is spent
👉🏼 what you’re building long-term
👉🏼 or how to create more flexibility in your life
If you’ve been wanting to meet other parents who get it…
you’re in the right place.
Looking forward to meeting you,
Nia Champaneria

Have you ever looked at your debt and thought...
"Where do I even start?"Or maybe you've started paying it off before...
made great progress...
then life happened.Yeah. Me too. 😂
Over the past several months, I've been rebuilding my own financial life after divorce, and one thing has become really clear...
I don't need more willpower.
I need better systems. This month, I'm pulling back the curtain and showing you the two tools I personally use every single week to stay on track with my debt payoff journey.
No guest expert this month.
Just me... sharing exactly what's working in my own life right now.
We'll talk about:
✔️ How I use one system to organize and accelerate my debt payoff
✔️ How I've been using another to help me understand my spending, spot patterns, and stay accountable
✔️ Why having two systems working together has made such a difference
✔️ The small habits that keep me moving forward... even when life gets busyThis isn't about finding some magical debt hack.
It's about building a system you can actually stick with.
What to expect:
👉🏼 A relaxed, interactive workshop (not a sales pitch)
👉🏼 Plenty of time for questions
👉🏼 Real numbers. Real experiences. Real lessons from someone who's still in the middle of the journey. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by debt...
Or you've wondered how someone actually stays consistent month after month...
I'd love to share what's been working for me.
Bring your coffee.
Bring your questions. We'll keep it to about an hour.
See you there!
— Nia Champaneria
PS. I'm still on this journey myself, so this isn't about having all the answers. It's simply a chance to see the exact systems I'm using to build more financial freedom... one month at a time.

Coffee & Real Talk for Parents: Getting Ready for the Holidays
·OnlineOnlineATTN: Please ensure you register at this link to access our event:
https://www.wannabefreetribe.com/coffeeIf you only RSVP on Meetup, you will not gain access to the event.
Be honest.
How many of your "holiday traditions" are actually just... things you feel like you have to do?Maybe it's the perfectly matching pajamas for the photo. Maybe it's the gift list that somehow grows every year no matter how much you swear it won't. Maybe it's just the general feeling that everyone else has this figured out and you're the only one drowning by mid-December.
Either way, here we are.
This month's Coffee & Real Talk is called:
Getting Ready for the HolidaysLet's hit pause for an hour and talk about this honestly, before the season actually hits. The pressure we put on ourselves, and the money we spend trying to live up to it.
We'll talk about things like:
✔️ what "the perfect holiday" actually costs you, financially and otherwise
✔️ a tradition you keep doing even though you kind of hate it
✔️ where the pressure is even coming from (spoiler: it's rarely the kids)
✔️ what overspending during the holidays has actually looked like for you
✔️ what you'd do differently this year if nobody was watchingThis isn't about becoming a Scrooge or cancelling Christmas. It's not a budgeting hack session.
It's a chance to slow down, get honest, and hear how other parents are actually thinking about the holidays this year, before another season gets spent trying to keep up instead of actually being present for it.
No pressure to share. You can jump into the conversation or simply listen with your coffee in hand.
What to expect (since we're online):
👉🏼 Small group, not a giant awkward webinar
👉🏼 Cameras optional (no pressure, no judgment)
👉🏼 No slides, no presentation
👉🏼 Just real conversationI'll guide things so it flows naturally, and we'll see where the conversation takes us.
If you've ever swiped the card in December and thought "I'll deal with this in January"...
this conversation is for you.Bring your coffee. We'll keep it to about 45–60 minutes.
See you there,
