Gather beneath the Full Moon in Aries for an evening exploring the mythic, astrological, and esoteric worlds of ancient Persia and the wider traditions that surround it.

At the heart of our gathering is Attar’s Conference of the Birds—a poetic journey of longing, transformation, and spiritual awakening that becomes our guide for exploring the Persian mythological imagination.

We’ll delve into Persian mythology, astrology, and esoteric traditions, tracing connections across the Persianate world through Zoroastrian ancestral traditions, Judeo-Persian ritual, and Bahá’í teachings, while also opening a dialogue with neighboring cosmologies, including Hellenic, Vedic, and Sino traditions.

How did different cultures understand the stars, the elements, fate, the soul, and humanity’s relationship to the cosmos? Where do their myths converge—and where do they profoundly differ?

Our exploration will move beyond conversation: astrology, myth, ritual, and movement will become ways of experiencing these traditions through both mind and body.

Feel free to bring objects that hold personal or symbolic meaning—amulets, talismans, incense, herbal seeds, tarot cards, or other ritual objects—as we gather to explore the myths, symbols, and celestial wisdom of the Persianate realm.

I know that the idea has been around for a while to have a Persian restaurant dinner event so finally it's here 😊. It will be on Saturday 17th October at 7pm at Hana Persian Restaurant in north west London. Im sure it will be a great night, meeting old and new members and conversing in a casual and fun atmosphere. I look forward to hosting you all. As an extra bonus there will be a 20% discount on food *(not including drinks). Please try to arrive on time and I look forward to seeing you soon.
