Scaling successful mobile apps from the most remote city in the world.
Welcome to the February 2026 edition of the Perth Mobile App Developers Meetup!
We're excited to announce a panel discussion + audience Q&A with successful Perth Mobile App Founders.
Taking to the stage, we have:
- Stuart Hall - Co-founder @ Appbot & Tiny Ideas. Hacking on side projects @ Bytesize Apps.
- Matt Comi - Founder @ BigBucket
- Michael Del Borrello - Founder @ Bonobo Labs
About the speakers:
Stuart Hall
- Stuart is a Perth-based mobile app founder, entrepreneur & angel investor. He is the co-founder and co-CEO of Appbot, a proudly bootstrapped and profitable platform used by 35% of the world’s top charting apps to understand and respond to mobile app feedback at scale. Stuart has built and grown mobile apps with over 10 million downloads, including 7 Minute Workout, WordBoard Keyboard, and Discovr Music, with successful exits along the way. More recently, he co-founded Tiny Ideas with his Appbot co-founder Claire, where they build mobile apps primarily in health and fitness with a focus on simple, thoughtful products.
- Matt is a Perth-based iOS developer and founder of Big Bucket. Under that name, he developed the games The Incident, Space Age, and Stagehand, as well as the TV-tracking app TV Forecast. Matt also worked on the Slack competitor Quill, which was later acquired by Twitter. Quill, along with Twitter itself, was shortly thereafter flushed down the toilet. Nowadays, he is the mobile developer at Jam.dev, while also doing his best to maintain his own apps.
- Michael is the founder and developer at Bonobo + Moleskine Digital Studio. He is a proud recipient of both an Apple Design Award and the iPad App of the Year award for Flow. Since establishing Bonobo in 2009, he’s built an incredible distributed team across Australia, Singapore, Canada, and the USA. Our mission is to create beautiful products of uncompromising quality. He specialises in apps, websites, hardware, marketing, branding, packaging, business processes, and technology. Bonobo are not an agency; all our ventures are built through partnerships.
The evening will run as follows:
- 5:00 pm - Event start.
- 5:15 pm - Pizzas are served.
