Applewood Winery invites all interested in attending their last campfire night of the year, on Friday September 18th.

The evening will feature live music with Darren Bailey, delicious pizza and pints on the patio!!

For those who appreciate great cider, Applewood has a reputation for just that!

As I write this, I’ve been assured that a reservation is not required.

(I’ll update Applewood as to numbers as we get closer to the date).

Karaoke night! Room has been booked for 2 hours from 7:30PM to 9:30PM.

Cost is $7.50 per person per hour. Pay individually at the bar before going into assigned room.

September 26th is the evening of the Harvest Moon ! Plan is to launch kayaks from the public launch at Lock 28, Burleigh Falls. We paddle to the far side of Lovesick Lake, and use the kayak railway to portage over into Lower Buckhorn Lake.

From there we paddle to Beachwood Resort, on Deer Bay. We get changed and sit down for dinner.

Planning for this event is in its preliminary stage, departure time is approximate. Logistics for moving participants back to their cars have still to be determined.

Beachwood Resort has been contacted and is interested in providing their services.
Dinner menu, prices and so on have not yet been discussed.

Please note, I may require individuals signing up to this event to provide a deposit, to reserve their seat at the dinner table.

Individual interested in joining the dinner, but not paddling are welcome to participate on that basis. (You may be asked to shuttle a paddler back to their car at the end of the evening)
