Philadelphia Center City Events serves the community of Philadelphia's Center City by organizing a wide range of enjoyable activities, including but not limited to free professional photo shoots, urban treks, dog walking, museum and art exhibition visits, night club outings, dining experiences at restaurants and cafes, holiday celebrations, mass events like concerts, fitness activities, city excursions, road trips, ice skating, outdoor and backyard gatherings, dance parties, togetherness and tons of other interesting events.
And of course we cheering for Eagles!

Welcome to the Comedy and Theatre Summer Showcase!
A unique entertainment offering that combines the best comedy talent in Philadelphia, with performances of short plays by rising playwrights in the tri-state area.

The show will be held at the 100-seat Bob and Selma Horan Theatre in the Hamily Family Arts Center, of the Arden Theatre Company.

Comedy Showcase starts at 7:00pm, and includes performances by...

Adam Flick: host of Close Quarters Comedy who has performed at major clubs across the country including The Comedy Studio Boston, DC Comedy Loft, and Greenwich Village Comedy Club NYC.

Manny Brown: co-founder of Next in Line Comedy, and practicing attorney.

Mary Radzinski: co-host of the reality TV podcast Are You My Podcast? who has opened for national acts such as Dave Attell and Shane Gillis, and was a featured performer at the Moontowner JFL Comedy Festival in Austin, TX.

Chip Chantry: co-host of the comedy travel podcast Sunburnt, who has toured nationally with acts such as Sarah Silverman and Bob Saget (RIP), and can be seen in his breakout television role as Kyle the Liar on Netflix's comedy series Tires.

Intermission is at 8:00pm, with a cash bar available.

Theatre showcase starts at 8:15pm, and includes short plays by...

Host Noah Schoenberg.

Emmy Kuperschmid: nyc based actor and playwright who has performed and developed work with theaters including The Public Under The Radar and New York Theatre Workshop, and is a member of the 2024-2024 Playwrights Cohort at PlayPenn.

Emery Schaffer: nyc and Edinburgh-based playwright who's work has been been performed at The Tank NYC, NYU Tisch, and Page2Stage Edinburgh.

Tickets include a reception with hors d'oeuvres at 9:00pm.
