I honestly had such a wonderful time. You are a funny, fresh, interesting, and incredibly easy group of women to talk to. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but you all made it feel so comfortable and effortless. Thank you for showing up, sharing stories, and making our first gathering such a success.
One of my favorite things was getting to talk with women in every stage of this crazy journey—perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. It was fascinating and encouraging to hear everyone’s experiences, learn from one another, and realize that no two journeys are exactly alike. I loved the openness, support, and willingness to share.
Since we’ve discovered that we’re spread all over the Valley, I think we’ll keep things flexible and have our meetups on different days, times, and locations so everyone has a chance to join in.
Several ladies mentioned brunch, which sounds like fun! If anyone knows of a place that could accommodate a larger group without being too packed on the weekend, please share your suggestions. Otherwise, I was thinking maybe a Sunday lunch would be nice. I’m open to ideas!
This is not a set event yet. But I am thinking, Sunday, July 12 at 11 AM. I’m gonna start looking around Phoenix Peoria Glendale for a place that can accommodate us and will not have a super long wait. Maybe we can just find a place that serves lunch and all the breakfast **?**
