Note ; If the sky is clear , we can try star trails and milkyway photography too.

REQUIREMENT:

• Camera & kitlens or wide angle lens.
• Carry macro lens too if you are a macro photographer or if you are interested in photographing the macro world and wind will be the real challenge.
• Sturdy Tripod.
• Wear shoes.
• Power Bank.
• Extra battery & memory card is always a good choice.
• Rain cover or polythene cover or umbrella.

11.30pm - Reach Pune railway station
12.00-03.00am - Dormitory stay

26th Sep 2026 Saturday:
03.00am - Journey to Satara by AC cab or cruiser or traveller based on the number of participants.
05.30am - Satara ghat Road sunrise shoot.
07.00am - Satara to Thoseghar waterfalls.
08.00am - Thoseghar waterfalls
10.30am - Thoseghar waterfalls to kaas.
12.30pm - Reach resort and rest followed by lunch.
03.00pm - To kaas Plateau
07.00pm - we will come back to resort.
08.00pm - Dinner
09.00pm - Review of the photographs.
11.00pm - Sleep and/or Astro photography if the sky is clear.

27th Sep 2026 Sunday:
05.00am - walk to sunrise view point
06.30am - to Kaas Plateau
07.30am- Kaas Plateau
10.00am - back to Resort followed by breakfast.
11.30am - checkout from the resort.
12.00 noon - will start journey to Solapur and will explore unique temple on the way back followed by lunch.
05.00pm - will reach Solapur and explore the town.
08.00pm - Dinner
10.00pm - Non AC sleeper train journey to Hyderabad.

28th Sep 2026 Monday:
07.00am - We will reach Nampally Railway station.

ABOUT KULASAI DASARA
Kulasai Dasara (Dussehra) is a cult rural festival celebrated during the famous Dussehra festival time in the 300 years' old Sri Mutharamman Temple or Kulasai Mutharamman Temple located in the small town Kulasekharapatnam, near Thiruchendur in Thoothukudi District of Tamil Nadu.

🛑 THE TOUR STARTS AT TIRUCHENDUR & ENDS AT TIRUCHENDUR.

• Tuticorin ( 40km away )
• Madurai ( 180 km away )

Nearest Railway Station

• Tiruchendur ( 1-2 km away ).

ITINERARY
17th October 2026 : All participants will meet at the Hotel by 6pm and will have a pre-note about the workshop.

18th October 2026 : Will explore rural areas around Sri Mutharamman temple and photograph the festival activities.

19th October 2026 :

• This is the main day of the festival and we can capture dramatic frames.
• A huge crowd will be there on this day.
• Morning will explore the rural villages.
• Post lunch will go to the Kulasai beach and temple where the major festival will happen.
• 19th Oct night will be halting at the beach itself to cover early morning festival happenings on 20th October 2026.

20th October 2026 :

• Morning will reach the hotel and will have breakfast.
• Will have a wind up note.

TRIP COST Rs 16500/- ( trip starts at Tiruchendur and ends at Tiruchendur).

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

• 1st Installment ( before 20th September 2026 ) ; Rs 9500/-
• 2nd Installment ( before 5th October 2026 ) ; Rs 9000/-

FEE INCLUDES

• Hotel stay - twin sharing at Tiruchendur.
• Local transportation ( 3 days ) from Hotel to all villages and temple to cover the festival activities and back to Hotel.
• All vegetarian meals start from 30th September dinner till 3rd October 2026 breakfast.
• Mineral water.
• Professional photography assistance along with guiding vantage points to get the perfect visuals and pictures.

EXCLUDES

• Any personal preferences apart from the above inclusive list.
• Tickets to and from Tiruchendur.
• Any entry tickets.
• Anything which is not in the inclusives.

CANCELLATION POLICY If you cancel the trip , the following charges will be applicable ( on the total amount ) based on the time period.

• Cancellation on or before 31st September 2026: Full refund.
• Cancellation after 31st. September 2026: Non refundable.
