About us
This is a social group for anyone who'd like to play board games and have some fun with others - you might be a board game aficionado or someone looking for something interesting and fun to do with your evening. You don't have to be 'good' at boardgames, or even own any games yourself, just come along and have a go - it's not the winning, put the taking part that counts here. Unless you are someone who is obsessed by winning games, and then obviously, it'll be all about the winning!!
Haven't played a board game for years? Not since your sister hammered everyone in that 5-hour-long-Christmas-Day-Monopoly-epic? But you've heard board games are 'hot' right now, right?
We'll be playing games like Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne, Catan, Pandemic, Dixit, Werewolf, Love Letter and whatever games people want to bring with them to play with others - the selection of games will change at every meetup depending on who brings what. Come on your own, or bring friends, and enjoy an evening of completely non-serious, Monopoly-free game playing.

Tuesday Night Gaming @ Wilful Beer, Mutley
Wilful Beer, 91 Mutley Plain, Mutley, PL4 6JJ, Plymouth, GBWe're trying out a new boardgame night at Wilful Beer in Mutley, on Tuesdays.
Cost: For now, attendance is free for the sessions at Wilful Beer, but of course it would be great if you could support the venue by buying the odd drink from their great selection!
Games: As ever, participants are actively encouraged to bring titles they'd like to play. We are also constantly updating our own game library, buying award winning titles such as Ark Nova, Cascadia, Akroplis, HEAT, Civolution, etc. Joining other hit titles within our game library, providing participants of all age and ability the opportunity to play a mix of games.
Interact with us!: We provide a discord server that can be utilised to answer any questions, plan games in advance if wanted, or just for general interest and gaming chat.
And please don't forget to register your interest by clicking Attend on this event if you want to come along; it's not essential to do so to attend, but it really does help in planning!
Parking info: There is an abundance of free on-street parking within neighbouring residential roads, (please check street signage):
- Connaught Avenue: Free parking between 18:00 & 10:00
- Belgrave Road: Free parking between 18:00 & 10:00
- Ford Park Lane: Free parking between 18:00 & 10:00
- Free Car Parks: Mutley Barracks (just behind Shekinah), or Napier Terrace (just behind Mutley Baptist; free on top floor only): A short 5-min walk to Wilful, and effectively free from 6pm (2hrs is free, if you register your numberplate on the machine, then it's not charged after 8pm).

Social Gaming @ Neutral Ground
Neutral Ground Plymouth, 14 Manor Street, Plymouth, GBMNG Plymouth's Monday Night boardgames returns (bi-weekly for now) to Neutral Ground!
Monday Night Gaming are constantly updating our game library, buying award winning titles such as Ark Nova, Cascadia, Akroplis, HEAT, Civolution, etc. Joining other hit titles within our game library, providing participants of all age and ability the opportunity to play a mix of games.
As ever participants are actively encouraged to bring titles they'd like to play, we also provide a discord channel
to discuss / plan games to play, or just for some general boardgame-related chat!Attendance is £3 per session, which covers Neutral Ground's costs, and helps pay the club's costs for Meetup and the games collection.
Neutral Ground also has a range of snacks & drinks available. All is payable via cash or card.

Ocean City Expo 2026 Playtesting
Stoke Damerel Community College, Somerset Place, Plymouth, GBThe third Ocean City Games Expo is happening this October in Plymouth, UK!
Alongside tournaments, miniature painting and contests we'll have a couple of tables set aside for a day-long playtesting meetup, so bring along your prototypes and let's test some games!
You don't need to be a designer to attend, we'll be looking for all kinds of people who want to try out some games that are in the process of being designed, and provide feedback on their experience.Early Bird Adult tickets are £6.26 for Saturday or £9.29 for Saturday and Sunday before 31st August.
After 31st August Saturday Adult £8.28 and Adult Tickets are £12.32 for the whole weekend.There are also ticket options for the tournaments etc but all ticket types give you entry to the Expo and the playtesting area for the day.
