About us
Welcome to Pride Adventures (Victoria)!
We organise a variety of LGBTQ+ friendly activities and trips for members to connect, have fun, and make new friends.
The idea is simply to provide our community (and friends) a welcoming platform to meet like minded people in a relaxed environment whilst having the opportunity to enjoy the best of what Victoria offers.
Most activities are centred around my love of bushwalking and just getting out into the wonderful outdoors, but we will be hosting general social events and are always open to suggestions.
Events will cater for people of varying fitness levels from those that just want to enjoy a gentle social walk to those that want to combine the social aspect with building their fitness levels and taking on a challenge!
Carefully read the event description to understand if the posted event is right for you or simply ask the organiser of the event.
What's the cost ?
Events are free unless there are entry fees or other expenses that require payment.
Is transport provided ?
Those attending events will be required to arrange their own transport to the meeting point.
We are always keen where possible for those with transport to offer a ride to others in order to do our bit for the environment but also give those without transport the opportunity to attend events. (to allow for this we use a simple carpooling website - just follow the link on the event description)
Why am I on the waitlist for an event?
In the interest of safety and in some cases to minimise the impact on the environment, hike leaders will often nominate an attendee limit for the event. If the limit has been reached, you're still welcome to join the waitlist and simply keep checking to see if a space has become free.
What if I can’t come to an event anymore?
Please change your RSVP to ‘Not going’ even if you’re currently on the waitlist.
A no-show policy applies to all events, so if you’re a confirmed attendee but can no longer come, please contact the hike leader as early as possible to avoid being marked as a no-show. (3 no shows and you will not be able to attend future event in fairness to all those in the group)

Grampians Adventures - September 24th to the 27th
Halls Gap, VI, AUJoin us on this multi day Pride Adventure to the amazing Grampians National Park.
The Grampians offers some of the best hiking in Victoria with amazing sandstone mountains with stunning views and unique landscapes.
Apart from the hiking opportunities the area also offers lots of other activities from wineries, a brilliant zoo, beautiful waterfalls and plenty of wildlife from Emus to EchidnasThe event will be over 4 days however each day will be organised as a separate event so you can choose to attend all days or just those days that best suit you.
For this Adventure we will be based at Halls Gap. This great little town offers a great range of accommodation from camping, lots of Airbnb options and a great range of motels \ caravan parks.
The key thing is to first register your interest in the event by confirming your attendance to this event summary, then organise your accommodation. (as this tends to be a busy period being the weekend of the AFL Grand Final)
This is the overall plan for each of the day's hikes but I may make some tweaks when posting each of the events.
Thursday September 24th : Arrive into Halls Gap by late afternoon in time for a sunset walk to the stunning Pinnacle (6 km).
Friday September 25Th : The Wonderland Loop. 23km - This is the best of the Grampians in a challenging but memorable hike that takes in the highlights of this amazing area.
Saturday September 26th : Hoping to arrange two options on this day. One being an easy hike and the other being a more challenging 26km hike to Mt Difficult & Briggs Bluff.
Sunday September 27th : A early Morning hike up to Mount Stapylton 12km - Another classic hike with stunning scenery and the famous Bird Rock and the Taipan Wall.
Then the drive back to Melbourne ready to face the world again on Monday!Questions ? feel free to post questions or text me as always (0401498263)
