Hosted by Q Fitness and Wellness, Charlotte’s only LGBTQ+ gym, the Q Fitness Run and Hike Club is a welcoming space for movement, connection, and joy. This club is designed for every level - whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, someone who just loves a good walk, or you're joining us for a scenic hike. Come build confidence, meet new friends, and be part of a supportive community that celebrates all bodies and all paces!
From May 2nd to June 6th, Q Fitness Run Club will be taking place on Saturdays at 9:00 AM at Veterans Park (2136 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205). We will be combining with the Q Fitness and Wellness 5K Practice Program, which you can join by registering for our upcoming QFW 5K on June 13th!
Participants in the Q Fitness Run Club can choose from 1-mile, 3-mile, or 5-mile routes, so there’s always an option that fits how you want to move that day! Our run club meets every week with no attendance limits, so even if an event appears full or you don’t see a new listing for a particular week, we’re still running! When you join us, we’ll add you to our WhatsApp group where we share schedule updates, running tips, and other community events.
In addition to our weekly runs, we host a monthly group hike designed for all abilities. These hikes are a chance to slow down, enjoy nature, and explore local trails together in a low-pressure, supportive environment! Dates and locations are announced in our the events tab on our Meetup page as well as our WhatsApp group! We can wait to move with you all!
