This is the 23rd session of our ongoing Vampire Dark Ages chronicle. The coterie survived it's DAY in the mortal courts of Constantinople only to be dragged almost immediately into an immortal court assembled from all of the ancient and powerful Greek residents of Constantinople. The coterie served as witnesses to testify against the Lasombra that framed the Brujah leader for the Latin Riots of 1182 that ultimately led to the Brujah being executed.
The Brujah was posthumously exonerated and the Greek Cainites recognized the status of the coterie as Lexor Proteges - the first step to becoming Greek citizens. An Imperial Army messenger burst into the assembly to reveal that the Imperial Army sent to Bulgaria had revolted and proclaimed its leader Emperor.
Now, the coterie is being conscripted by the ancient Ventrue of Constantinople into the Imperial Army to scout the forces marching on the city and take action to delay or end this threat to the Polis. The possible reward: Greek Citizenship and an eternity in the Dream of Constantinople.
