About us
Redwood City Social is for those interested in engaging in fun activities such as happy hours, wine tastings, dining at new restaurants, game nights, trivia, museums, movies, live music events, and hiking!
We enjoy checking out new hot spots, as well as those tried and true venues. Most of our events take place in Redwood City and nearby cities along the peninsula including Mountain View, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, San Carlos, Belmont, Redwood Shores, Foster City, San Mateo, Burlingame and San Bruno.
The three most popular comments that we get from people after events is that they had so much fun, met awesome people and tried out a place that had not been to before.
Profile Photo:
When you join, please upload a profile photo of yourself, as opposed to a cartoon, animal, or nature photo. Since attendees are often meeting multiple new people during events, this makes it easier for them to recognize and remember you before and after events.

RWC Music on the Square (w/ RWC Social)!
Courthouse Square, 2200 Broadway, Redwood City, CA, USThe summer is here, and Redwood City's Music On the Square is marking 20 years. Redwood City Social will be semi-regularly hanging out.
May 29's act is the Santana Tribute - Carnaval !!
BYOB*, or get drinks & food there, bring chairs, blankets - come for the music and dancing, or just to hang out and chat in the sun.
*Glass bottled beverages are not allowed at events.
Getting To Music On The Square:
If you aren't close enough to walk to the square, then your options to get into Downtown Redwood City would be RideShare (Uber, Lyft, etc), CalTrain, or driving. For RideShare Drop off, my recommendation would be to get dropped off at the intersections of (Redwood City, CA 94063) :
- Broadway & Winslow St
- Jefferson Ave, & Marshall St
- Jefferson Ave & Broadway
These will put you about 1-2 blocks from the event, and keep you away from some of the closed streets.
CalTrain is only about 2-3 blocks away, just 3-5 minutes walk to the event, the new electric trains have arrivals about every 15 minutes on Friday evening between about 4-7:30pm, and then departures from 8pm to almost 1am, every 30 minutes.
I've heard parking can get tight, however, there are nearly 4,000 spaces in downtown Redwood City. I would suggest trying the parking garages first. Please double check & obey all posted signage.
- County Parking Structure (440 Middlefield Rd) (Free after 5pm).
- Caltrain Parking (53 Perry St) (Free in the evenings, check signage)
- Middlefield Parking Lot (1017 Middlefield Rd - at "Box" Office Building)
