Talk 1: FFT goes KMP: the Kick, the Mayhem and the Payoff
Kotlin Multiplatform promised us a future beyond Android - and we jumped right in. With familiar tools, we could finally target iOS and Web without starting from scratch. But between missing libraries, unknown ecosystems, and technical challenges, the mayhem was real. Join us as we share the excitement, the chaos, and the ultimate payoff of taking Fulfillmenttools clients cross-platform.Florian Taute is a software developer with over seven years of experience, specializing in creating user-friendly and inclusive mobile applications. Highly interested in cross-platform development, Florian is an early adopter of Kotlin Multiplatform, exploring innovative ways to deliver seamless experiences across devices. He currently works as a Senior Mobile Developer at Fulfillmenttools building scalable mobile solutions that enhance fulfillment processes. He’s convinced that the secret to clean code is a perfectly brewed espresso.
Artem Perlov is a seasoned software developer with over a decade of experience in programming. He published his first app in 2011 and has been passionate about tackling complex technical challenges ever since. With a background that includes work as a security consultant, Artem brings a strong focus on secure and maintainable code to every project. He currently works as a Senior Mobile Developer at Fulfillmenttools building scalable mobile solutions that enhance fulfillment processes. He’s convinced that naming variables is one of the hardest parts of programming.

Can an established Android codebase make the leap to Kotlin Multiplatform? Together with congstar, we explored this question with our KMP Readiness Check to assess technical foundations, library compatibility, and organizational readiness for a multiplatform approach.
The analysis uncovered both promising opportunities and concrete challenges. While Kotlin Multiplatform can simplify shared business logic and reduce duplication, existing toolchains, library compatibility, and integration with iOS workflows still demand careful planning and realistic expectations.
This talk summarizes what we learned: where the real benefits lie, which obstacles to expect, and how to design a realistic path toward multiplatform adoption without disrupting ongoing product development.Bastian Demuth is Android Developer at Cologne Intelligence.
LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/bastian-demuth-a19b0410b/Talk 3: An iOS Perspective on Kotlin Multiplatform
This short reflection takes a step back to look at Kotlin Multiplatform through iOS eyes. Kotlin Multiplatform has the potential to reshape how mobile teams work together - but for that to happen, the iOS perspective and its concerns need to be part of the conversation.
This talk is an invitation to think about what that means technically, culturally, and collaboratively - and to reflect on where alignment helps, and where diversity still matters.Konstantin Gaarz is an iOS Developer at Cologne Intelligence with experience in mobile development, UX design, and project leadership. While iOS is his specialty, he maintains a broad outlook on software architecture - exploring cross-platform solutions to enable more efficient, adaptable development. He brings a holistic mindset to his projects, bridging technical execution with strategic thinking and delivering clear, pragmatic guidance along the way. He might not wear a black turtleneck, but he definitely believes in saying ‘One more thing…’ to features that matter.

🗣 Talk #1: Francesco Bianchi (VisAgi) about "GenZen"
Gen Z is here and they’re not ruining the workplace, they’re redefining it. In this interactive session hosted by GenZen, we’ll explore how generational differences manifest in communication, expectations, and collaboration. Participants will engage in interactive activities, explore surprising data, and reflect on what it takes to build workplaces that work for everyone. Come curious, leave connected.🗣 Talk #2: Esjona Musta "From Resistance to Resonance: Navigating Change with Empathy"
From Resistance to Resonance: Navigating Change with Empathy
Have you ever shared an idea that didn’t land the way you expected?
That quiet shift, that subtle resistance, can feel frustrating, but it often reveals something deeper.
In this session, we’ll explore what really happens in that space between intention and reaction and how empathy can help us meet people where they are, not where we wish they were. Join Esjona as she shares what she's been learning about change, connection, and the power of listening and let’s learn together along the way.🗣 Talk #3: Christina Hartmann (REWE digital) "Wie man Frauen aus der IT vergrault"
Hier gehen uns schon Unmengen an Nachwuchs-ITlerinnen verloren.

Free parking available at the "REWE digital"-Carlswerk parking spots around the building.🌈All Genders and Ages welcome!

🌟 Designing the tools, that build the tools, that build design systems
Detailed description coming soon!
Mike Kamminga, CEO Hyma (Tokens Studio)🌟 Scaling Design Systems at SAP: 13 Years of Fiori and Beyond
What does it take to scale a design system across one of the world’s largest enterprise suites?
The SAP Design System for Web team will share how they scale design across technologies and organizations, embed accessibility as a product standard, and evolve their Figma UI kits to support the entire SAP Business Suite.
With Bart Meeuwssen (VP SAP Design System for Web), Wendy Fox (Accessibility Lead), and Janina Fichtner (Lead Figma Tooling & Kits), you’ll get a look into the strategy, setup, and tooling that keep one of the world’s largest design systems moving forward.
Bart Meuwwssen, VP SAP Design System for Web
Dr. Wendy Fox, Accessibility Lead at SAP
Janina Fichtner, Lead Figma Tooling & Kits at SAP🌟 Beyond Components: Solving Legacy with Design Systems
“The hardest legacy to replace isn’t code — it’s how we work.”
Even with mature systems, teams still wrestle with legacy: multiple table components, scattered docs, and designers and developers in parallel universes.
We’ll break down the different types of legacy and explore how design systems help entire companies move with shared language and purpose. Design system work is 20% components, 80% communication. The system isn’t what we build—it’s how we build together.
Laura Fehre, Designer Advocate at Figma
