About us
What we’re about
The Round Table Book Discussion is a show-and-tell book club for anyone to come and discuss books and other media that inspired them. What book have you read recently that you would love to talk about? What podcast has been on your mind? Do you love discussing books, articles, and other media? We want to listen and discuss with you!
We especially love to talk about nonfiction or fiction, podcasts, films, and articles on topical cultural, political, and social issues (Check the Meetup Comments for past discussions!) but any book goes! We can discuss contemporary and classic fiction, the latest good reads in geopolitics and psychology, or the fun beach reads and late night thrillers or memorable poetry. We just love literature!
BYOP—Bring Your Own Passion. What have you read or viewed about the world today that you want to discuss with others? Present a brief summary of your book/video to initiate the 5 to 10 minute discussion. We meet in-person at the cafe's outdoor patio or indoor tables!
