See all- Trail Maintenance: Mt Laguna - Gatos - rockwork for water drainage + Hess BeerSunset Meadows kiosk, Mount Laguna, CA
SDMBA trail maintenance on the Laguna Rec Area, Noble Canyon Trail and surroundings have been graciously supported by Cal Coast Bicycles for countless years.
Cal Coast Bicycles will have more swag to hand out throughout the year!
We will have Mike Hess Brewing adult beverages!
Location: Sunset trail head, across the street from the port-a-potty. Adventure pass required.
We will be closing off short cuts, narrowing widened trails and cleaning out drains down closer to the meadow.
Don't accept riding in a rut as good and normal. Let's do something about it!
We will be moving very heavy logs and heavier rocks to control water flow and drainage issues.
If you have seen the work we have done, then you know. If you have ridden Gatos lately, then you know.
Bring bicycle, own snacks and water, work gloves, protective eyewear, covered footwear. We will ride to work site, swag, snacks after.
No walk-ups. We take your RSVP here as a confirmation that you will show up. If something unexpected comes up or you feel ill before the event, please email Brian at suzuki727@yahoo.com so we can fill your spot.
Cell phone reception is spotty at best at the trail head. Usual travel time from La Mesa to trail head is approximately 1 hour.
Inclement weather or unsafe conditions will cancel this event. Updates will be posted in comment thread on this page.
