Our San Francisco Group Hikes explores the San Francisco Parks which offers uniqueness of locations which may feature certain plants, habitats, wildlife, and various recreation amenities available. These parks feature commonalities and secret vistas within this amazing magical city.
We can learn more about reptiles, amphibians, insects, invertebrates, birds, fish, and mammals within their habitats right outside as we move throughout the city. We can explore a park and learn patterns of these animals’ behaviors in terms of where they live, what they hunt, how they search for food, roam for safety, build their dens, take a nap, and sleep safely each day.
It is so wonderful to have so many areas of natural beauty in an expanding metropolis city full of California native plants and its wildlife to explore peacefully in nature.

Let's explore the hidden trails and scenic views of Glen Canyon Park on a group hike with fellow nature enthusiasts!
The park features an extensive grassland with adjoining trees that supports breeding pairs of red-tailed hawks and great horned owls, striking rock outcrops, and arid patches covered by "coastal scrub" plant communities.
The bottom of the canyon, where Islais Creek flows, is irregular but moderate in slope, dropping 350 feet over a distance of about 1 mile. This is a Kid Friendly event. Please see the latest release...
