Seacoast Friday Night Drinks and Activities

Hi, we're getting a handful of new members from the Amesbury, Haverhill, Salem area (Thank you!) so I’m crossposting this event to both groups (25 plus signups there thus I’ve tweaked the count here). If you aren't familiar, live music at the Tuscan is a great take! Free admission, You may want to bring a beach chair. I’ll post our location the day of.

Down By Ten, my new favorite band… is returning to the Tuscan Village on August 29th… So far we’ve had a solid 4 and 0 record against Mother Nature since the spring and we’ll continue to take advantage of outdoor events while we can. Down By Ten plays a great mix of 70’s thru 00’s danceable pop rock with a minimum of fuss. They were given the prime 7pm spot at the Hampton Beach 4th of July Fireworks celebration and are also playing the Hampton Seafood Festival. They are good, real good. Alcohol is served at the kiosks and there are plenty of food trucks. Keep in mind there will be kids and families at the Tuscan. Not that we get very wild but just be aware. :).

Hi all, going to post a Thirsty Thursday get together at Shanes’s Texas BBQ on High Street on Thursday September 3rd. (The Thursday before the holiday weekend). We’ll keep it small (10-12) but if there’s interest I’ll talk to the Shane’s folks.

Since I left Hampton in the late 90’s… maybe ya’ll can first fill me in on what happened to the 7/11 that I swore was around here somewhere. ;). Note: I figured it out. lol.

Shane’s has a great selection of apps, ribs, burgers, brisket, sausage and a full bar. Texas BBQ is my favorite.

Hi all, our first event will be the 2026 Hampton Beach Seafood Festival: The very excellent Down By Ten has a prime spot (4:30) at
The Beach Bar stage. Let's meet a little early, sample some of the best the seacoast has to offer. There is an admission fee (believe it's $10 online and $15 the day of at the gate.) It will be a pretty cool day and there will be events and cooking demos with area restaurants. Wicked Bites TV (NESN, love that show) will be broadcasting. Seagulls from all over the East Coast will also be attending! ;) lol

Pro tip: Parking will be at a premium at the Beach, there are free shuttle buses running all throughout the town, I'll post more info as it gets closer. I've always been able to park near the Galley Hatch (Hampton) and it's a pretty quick 5 minute ride to the main entrance.

Also: in the event of weather, you might want to hold off buying tickets until the week of or at the gate... Thankfully, the weather has been cooperating lately but we'll see.

This will be heavily attended (thousands of people) we'll work out a plan so that we have a meeting spot. We'll congregate at the Beach Bar in time for the band!

I thought it might be time to actually post an event on a Friday Night. :).

We’re coming in a little hot with the BBQ joints but SOTW is new and getting great reviews so far. It’s Texas BBQ (the best IMHO). Fridays are a little busy so we’ll have to get a few folks in early to grab some tables.
