Calling all makers! We're a membership-based makerspace in Interbay and we're hosting meetups for makers who love to, well, make things!
Our meetups are for tech nerds who want to talk shop, hobbyists who want to build that idea that's been keeping them up at night, cosplay enthusiasts who want to stitch their dreams into existence, and anyone who loves to DIY.
We'll be hosting events around holiday themes, specific types of technology or materials, and much more. Come make in a fun and easy-going environment where failure is embraced and exploration is the norm.

Electronics and Robotics Meetup
3012 16th Ave W, Seattle, WA, USNote: this meetup has changed to Thursdays!
Join us every second Thursday of the month for our Electronics & Robotics Meetup to hang out with other makers and get help with projects!
This is a great opportunity for show and tell, and to meet and learn from other electronics makers in the community. And if you’re stuck, an electronics team member will be around to help out.
Whatever level from total beginner to advanced, we are here to help you. The meetup will run for 2 hours but feel free to drop in for just a question or the whole time.
Cost: Free for members, $10 suggested donation for non-members
Whom it’s for: Anyone aged 11+ (youth 11-17 must have a guardian present).
What we’ll provide: Soldering workstations; plenty of parts, modules and components available for purchase

Queer Crafters
Seattle Makers, 3012 16th Ave W, Seattle, WA, USAre you a member of the LGBTQIA+ community? Do you like crafting? Join us every other Monday at the Queer Crafters meetup at Seattle Makers!
This is an event for queer crafters to get together, make things, trade tips and tricks, and be supported. You can hang out and ask what people are doing, or you can bring a craft of your own to work on. Everyone can join, with any kind of craft. Bring a friendly smile and a passion for craftin’ and help create a community.

- This event will be held at Seattle Makers (3012 16th Ave W, Seattle, WA).
- Anyone under 18 y/o needs to have parent/guardian permission to attend. Must be at least 8 y/o to participate.

Game Night at Seattle Makers!
Seattle Makers, 3012 16th Ave W, Seattle, WA, USJoin us for the Seattle Makers Game Night, where we get together, play board games, and promote and discuss game development projects of all kinds!
Some of my personal favorites are Dominion, Settlers of Catan, Rummikub, and Blood on the Clocktower (if someone wants to bring it).
As always, this is an open-spirited event and everyone is looking to play new games, so don’t hesitate to bring in a game you’re passionate about, and let’s try it together!
In the same vein, do you have a project you’ve been working on that you want to show off and play-test? Bring it in too! We celebrate anything game-related: puzzles, arcade cabinets, custom chess pieces -- we want to see it all!
We are not limited to physical games! We have a projector setup for digital games too, as long as you provide the system. Though allow for some expected setup time lol.
Come play games, hang out with friends, discuss game design, and build new like-minded connections! Seattle Makers is an open and accepting community, and we’d love to have you here!

Location: Downstairs event hall @ Seattle Makers, 3012 16th Ave W, Seattle, WA
Enter through the side door in the parking lot. If you arrive after 8pm put a message in the discord with @mod or call (206) 659-1726 and someone will come up and let you in.
Cost: Free for all! However donations to Seattle Makers via the Meetup page or Venmo @seattlemakers are really appreciated and helps pay for use of the space.
Who's invited?: The event is open to all ages 11 and up (participants aged 16 and under require a legal guardian present)
Alcohol policy: Unfortunately, alcoholic beverages or consumption is not allowed on the premises at this time as it is not covered under Seattle Makers insurance policy. This may change in the future if interest and funding becomes adequate.

Parking: Building parking is limited. There is more around the corner at the park off the intersection of 17th Ave W and W Barret Street where there is another parking lot. Street parking is available but usually taken in the immediate area. If you are willing to walk across the bridge crossing the tracks, there is often street parking on the other side along 20th Ave W. Beware the nearby 2-hour parking, they are vigilant.We can't wait to see what you bring!
