We are a movie loving group hosting in-person movie watching and discussion events in SF. Come join our Discord community! https://discord.gg/UekUHFp6qq Typical events involve watching a movie at a theater followed by discussion at a nearby bar, cafe, or restaurant.
Our goal is to foster a community of movie lovers that regularly meets to watch and discuss movies of all kinds. We hope that some of the active members will eventually step up and host events so that more people can participate.

THE SAMURAI AND THE PRISONER
Roxie Theater, 3117 16th Street, San Francisco, CA, USJoin us for Kiyoshi Kurosawa's new samurai thriller, THE SAMURAI AND THE PRISONER, playing at the Roxie Theater on Friday, August 14 at 6 pm. We will meet in front of the theater at 5:20 pm for quick intros and to secure good seats. Please buy your ticket in advance! After the show, we'll meet in front of the theater again and then head to a nearby eatery for food, drinks, and discussion (most likely Big Lantern Chinese Restaurant). Please UPDATE your RSVP if your plans change!

MEMBERS' CHOICE 18 (BRUNCH)
Bistro Central Parc, 560 Central Avenue, San Francisco, Ca, USJoin us for the 18th edition of our MEMBERS' CHOICE Event! We'll be discussing two movies of your choice on Sunday, August 16 at 12 PM at Bistro Central Parc. Bistro Central Parc charges for no shows, so please update your RSVP at least 24 hours before the event.
For this event, members vote on movies to discuss during brunch and the top TWO movies will be chosen! It’s up to you to watch the movies on your own before we meet. All movie options are available online at Kanopy.com (you can get a free account using your public library card). The winners will be announced on 8/5 so that people have time to view the movies before we meet. Because there is limited seating for our reservation please RSVP only if you are committed to attending!
