Organization History:
California Camera Club (CCC) began in San Francisco in 1890 with an active membership. Members shared exhibits in the Academy of Sciences Building on Market Street. Outings for camera work were an important part of the club’s activities. California Camera Club members made excursions to the Panama-Pacific International Exposition to document the Fair. Monthly illustrated lantern slide lectures with submissions from members were held.
