About us
A meeting of German-language speakers and learners in the SLC area open to all levels of proficiency and fluency. We will try to meet regularly, roughly every two weeks, in the Downtown, University, and Sugar House areas. I would like to keep the meetings informal, but with a focus on learning and improving everyone's speaking abilities and comfort level. Speaking, however, will not be required. If you want to show up and listen in, you're welcome, too. Fluent and native speakers are especially welcome to attend.

Crêpes at Dali Crêpes

I was trying to think of a nice location for the next meeting, now that the weather is pleasant enough to sit outside around sunset. It has been several months since we last met at the Dali Crepes location in South Salt Lake. It has always been a favorite spot, with a pleasant outside seating area, and some indoor tables, if the weather gets uncooperative.
For anyone who has not been to Dali Crepes, they make very tasty sweet (süẞ) crepes (with fruit, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and Nutella, etc) and savory (herzhaft) crepes (with prosciutto, turkey, cheese, mushrooms...). They also have hot drinks, cold drinks, frappes, teas, and juices.
Street parking is easy in the area. Anyone with any level of fluency is welcome to attend. Guests are also welcome. It's open to anyone, but speaking in German as much as possible is encouraged. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or post a comment below.
