About us
Soulmated is an online discussion community for people who want honest, structured conversations about dating, relationships, communication, and connection.
If you are single, dating again after a long relationship, or simply trying to understand your patterns and make better choices, you will find your people here.
This is not therapy. It is not a dating service. It is a moderated space where thoughtful adults, mostly singles 35 and older, show up on camera, share real perspectives, and leave with something useful.
What we talk about:
- Dating dynamics, compatibility, and what you actually want
- Communication, boundaries, and emotional patterns
- Modern dating: apps, ghosting, timing, and starting over
- Relationships after divorce, loss, or a long situationship
What makes this different:
- Every session is moderated and structured, not a free-for-all
- Camera-on culture. Real faces, real conversation.
- No performative sharing, no preaching, no pressure
- Built from a card game designed to spark the conversations most people avoid
Most members are 35 to 65, based across North America, and done with surface-level connection.
RSVP to an upcoming event. Come with a perspective or a question. That is all it takes.

You Say You Want a Relationship. Do You Mean It?
Most people can describe what they don't want in a relationship. Fewer can clearly articulate what they actually do want, and fewer still can explain why. That gap is where a lot of dating confusion lives.
This conversation is part of the SOUL Framework series, a year-long community exploration of the four things that shape how we date and connect. We're opening with O: Outcome Vision, and getting honest about what you're actually building toward.
💬 What we'll explore:
- Why "I'll know it when I feel it" is not a standard
- The difference between what you want and what you've been conditioned to want
- How vague outcome thinking leads to vague dating choices
- What it actually means to have standards vs. a wishlist
- The role self-awareness plays in knowing what you're looking for
- Why two people can want "something serious" and still be incompatible
🧠 You'll leave with:
- A clearer picture of what you're actually looking for and why
- A way to distinguish real standards from inherited expectations
- Language to articulate your outcome without sounding rigid
- A starting point for the conversations that matter
What to expect: This is a peer-led group discussion; there's no formal presentation or coaching. You'll have the chance to reflect, share, and hear from others on similar journeys. Whether you speak up or listen in, you're welcome here.
🎥 P.S. For a more engaging experience, we encourage you to turn on your camera during the session! Your privacy is important to us, and all discussions will be handled with the utmost respect and confidentiality.

Does Your Life Actually Fit the Relationship You Want?
·OnlineOnlineA lot of people are looking for a relationship that fits a life they haven't fully built yet. They know the kind of partner they want. However, their schedule, their habits, their priorities, and their daily reality tell a different story.
This conversation is part of the SOUL Framework series, continuing O: Outcome Vision. Last month we talked about clarifying what you're looking for. This month we go one level deeper: does the life you're actually living match the relationship you say you want?
💬 What we'll explore:
- How lifestyle misalignment shows up in dating without people realizing it
- The difference between wanting a relationship and being ready for one
- How your current routines, availability, and priorities signal what you're actually prioritizing
- What it means to build toward a relationship vs. wait for one to fix things
- The patterns that emerge when people date for escape instead of alignment
- How to take an honest inventory of where your life is right now
🧠 You'll leave with:
- A clearer picture of whether your life is set up for the relationship you want
- A practical way to identify where the gaps are
- A more honest lens on what readiness actually looks like
- Concrete questions to ask yourself before your next serious pursuit
What to expect: This is a peer-led group discussion; there's no formal presentation or coaching. You'll have the chance to reflect, share, and hear from others on similar journeys. Whether you speak up or listen in, you're welcome here.

The Oversharing Trap
·OnlineOnlineThere is a pattern that shows up early in dating that almost nobody talks about. When you share too much too soon, you hand someone a blueprint for mirroring you.
They reflect your values back. They match your emotional depth. They use your language. The chemistry feels real because in some ways it is real. It is your own reflection, and mistaking that resonance for compatibility is how a lot of people end up deep in something that was never actually mutual.
This conversation is about the oversharing trap: why it happens, what it costs, and how to build something that holds.
💬 What we'll explore:
- Why the urge to overshare is data, not a flaw. It tells you something about your anxiety, your attachment style, and how much you want this connection to work
- How mirroring works in early dating and why it can feel like deep compatibility
- The difference between pacing and withholding. This distinction matters, especially if avoidant tendencies make "appropriate timing" a convenient reason to never go deep
- What context before content actually looks like: before sharing something personal, the question is not whether it is too soon. It is whether you have seen how this person handles other people's vulnerability
- How to use that as a concrete, testable frame rather than a vague gut check
- The longer-term cost of front-loading intimacy before trust has had a chance to build
🧠 You'll leave with:
- A clearer read on what your oversharing urge is actually signaling
- A practical frame for pacing that does not require you to shut down or perform mystery
- A specific question to ask yourself before going deep with someone new
- A way to distinguish between resonance and real compatibility earlier in the process
What to expect:
This is a peer-led group discussion; there's no formal presentation or coaching. You'll have the chance to reflect, share, and hear from others on similar journeys.
