No cover charge, although the band appreciates tips. Parking on street. Your host will post a selfie just prior to event start time to help you find the group.

PechaKucha Providence (Theme: All the Way)
Uptown Theater, 270 Broadway, Providence, RI, USJoin us for PechaKucha Night in Providence! It’s a wonderful event. You never know what you will hear or learn or who you might meet. PechaKucha PVD brings people together to share ideas, creations, and stories using a format of 20 images that each last 20 seconds. Each presentation lasts 6 mins 40 seconds. It's kind of like TEDx but smaller and hyper-local. Here's a short YouTube about it. The theme of the talks this month is All the Way. The location is Uptown Theater. The meetup group will meet to mingle a little bit at 7:30 and the talks start at 8:20. We’ll all find seats together.

Botanical Fashion Show at Kinney Azalea Garden $46
Kinney Azalea Gardens, 2391 Kingstown Road, Kingston, RI, USLet’s welcome summer a new way: watching a botanical fashion show while surrounded by gorgeous blooming azaleas. This event is billed as an immersive performance of wildcrafted wearable art and storytelling by nature-artist Sara Seelenbrandt, who formerly worked in the fashion industry in New York. The performance will take place along a shaded woodland trail within the garden, creating an intimate setting that blends art with the surrounding landscape. Following the performance, a cocktail hour will be held beyond the moon gate, allowing guests to meet the artist and view the creations up close.
General parking is available along the road. Visitors requiring accessible parking may park behind the house. Just prior to event start time, host will post a selfie or description to help you find the group.
