Fleetwood Mac Tribute "Little Lies" @ Ragged Island 7/8
Ragged Island Brewery, 54 Bristol ferry road ,, Portsmouth, RI, USLive music, food trucks, and beer on the lawn on a warm summer evening. What's not to love? Fleetwood Mac tribute band Little Lies is playing as part of the Free Summer Concert Series at Ragged Island Brewing in Portsmouth, RI. Little Lies is a 7-piece tribute band from Boston, performing an authentic and eclectic playlist of songs from every decade of the Fleetwood Mac catalog.
We have a large group and there will likely be a large crowd. We recommend getting there by 5:30 or so if you can. Music starts at 6. Bring lawn or beach chair or a blanket. Dogs okay. Outside food okay; no outside beverages. Prior to meetup start time, your host will post a selfie and photo of our location to help you find the group. Once the music starts, the phone goes away and the focus is on the group and FUN! Rain cancels as this is an outdoor event.

World Cup Semifinal Watch Party, PVD FanZone 2:30pm
Station Park, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI, USThe FIFA World Cup semifinal soccer match taking place Tuesday 7/14 will be streamed live at the Providence FanZone. Join us and hundreds of other fans to celebrate excellence in sport and cheer for the team of your choice. We’ll gather at 2:30pm to stake out a spot. The match starts at 3pm. At this outside venue there are food trucks, bars, and some seating. There are small tents onsite if it rains and we need a break.
Bring a lawn chair (optional), sunscreen, warm clothes if it’s cool. Photo attached showing general meeting location circled in red. At 2:30 your host will post a selfie and specific meeting location details. She will check messages until the match starts at 3pm, then the phone goes away and the focus is on the group and FUN!
Note: The events are rain or shine, but if there are consistent downpours, PVD FanZone will communicate alternative viewing options on social media channels as needed (Instagram ). Umbrellas are permitted.

Talking Heads Tribute “Start Making Sense,” Ocean Mist 7/17 $30
Ocean Mist, 895 Matunuck Beach Road,, South Kingston, RI, USJoin us for an excellent night of Talking Heads music and dancing at the iconic Ocean Mist beach bar in South Kingstown, RI. Start Making Sense is a tribute band that will have you on your feet. The seven-piece band celebrates the Talking Heads’ catalog, meticulously executing the sounds and iconic live visual elements in every performance. The show starts at 9pm with opening band Baylies.
Buy your $30 ticket here. IMPORTANT: Be sure to get your ticket for the Friday night show! (Not Thursday night.) Parking along the road. Host will post a selfie just prior to Meetup start time to help you find the group. Once the music starts, the phone goes away and the focus is on the group and FUN!
