Join us for a very special afternoon of steam, music and maritime atmosphere as Shieldhall steams down Southampton Water and into the Solent.

We're delighted to welcome the acclaimed Chris Dean Quartet on board for an unforgettable jazz cruise. Chris Dean is one of Britain's best-known bandleaders and musicians, and guests will enjoy live performances throughout the voyage.

As an added bonus, Shieldhall will pass an impressive line-up of cruise ships in port, including Iona, MSC Virtuosa, Sky Princess and Ventura, providing a spectacular backdrop to an afternoon of live music and steam.

You can bring your own picnics on board (no alcohol though) and it's always a good idea to have a hat, cot, sunscreen lotion etc and wear comfy shoes as the companionways on the ship are very steep!
There is a well stocked bar and cafe on board if you don't want to bring your own refreshments.

Parking will probably be at DP World and if you have a blue badge you can contact the Ticket Manager at SS Shieldhall to reserve a place to park near the ship's berth.

Let's go to the Square Cow pub in Wickham for Sunday lunch and some live music. The pub has a lovely Sunday lunch menu and also live music by vocalist Mick Tyler from 2pm.

Menus include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options as well as 'small plate' dishes.

The Square Cow pub honours Blue Light cards and also Defense Discount cards.

There is plenty of parking in Wickham square and also neighbouring roads. Google says that parking is still free on Sundays but please do check the notices in the car park just in case. Many of the shops in Wickham square open on Sundays so you might like to arrive early and have a mooch before lunch (or afterwards).
