August is very hot ☀️ in Saint Augustine so we will have a special cold 🥶 treat to start this months Art Walk:
5:45 PM: Peace Pie at 8 Aviles Street!
A Sweet Spin on Ice Cream Sandwiches
Located on historic Aviles Street, Peace Pie is home to the only patented ice cream sandwich made with shortbread cookies and house-made pie fillings. This locally loved dessert shop serves up a playful twist on a classic treat, with flavors that range from nostalgic to unexpected.
6:00 PM: Art Walk
Travel through time with the Saint Augustine Art Walk. Local artists display their works throughout the cobbled streets of Saint Augustine offering wine and snacks free to visitors as we learn about their exhibits. It’s great fun and an open event so if you miss our group there will be lots of us wandering through.
The usual path we follow is Aviles Street then left at Cadiz. Then up Charlotte to final gallery on King Street. See map in photos.
This is the 460th anniversary of the founding of Saint Augustine in 1565♥️
7:30: Head to Prohibition Kitchen on St. George Street across the Plaza for a bite to finish up or continue to the After Party!
Psss. Prohibition Kitchen has Mandalla playing from 10:00-1:00 and while not part of this event - let us know if you want to join us there for an “after party event”. Great dancing 🪭💃🏼🕺🏻
