About us

Great movies, in great theaters, with great people. That’s the mission. A club filled with film-lovers (and film-likers) that meets every week to watch a movie in theaters! We’ll hang out before/after each showing to talk about movies, life, and just get to know each other. I schedule a good mixture of new and old releases, and try to balance genres. We also schedule events outside the theater like our popular ‘Outdoor Movie Nights’ at Tower Grove Park! This is a great way to meet new people and socialize!

This trailer looks so fun/creepy and it’s horror movie season, so let’s check it out! We’ll hang out inside The Foundry Food Hall (far east end near Fordo’s Pizza) for one hour before the 7pm showing. Then afterwards, we’ll circle up outside for a quick discussion before heading to Riley’s Pub to hang out some more!

Ronnie's has some great food a drink specials for football Sunday, so I thought I'd pair it with a matinee showing of Aaron Sorkin's follow up to The Social Network (I get it, another weird combo). If football isn't your thing, no biggy! Stop on by whenever you'd like, or just come for the movie.
1. At 1pm we'll meet at the Take 5 Lounge inside Ronnie's to hang out with some discounted food/drinks and watch some football.
2. Around 2:20 we'll group up and form our normal pre-show hang.
3. After the 3:20 showing ends, we'll circle up in the lobby for a quick discussion.

We’ll hang out on the Rockwell Beer Company patio on Vandeventer from 8-9:15pm and then head up the road to make the 9:30 showing at Alamo Drafthouse. Then afterwards, we’ll circle up outside the theater for a quick discussion.

Hiking/Potluck/Creepyworld Haunted ScreamPark!

We thought this would be a fun way to get outside and enjoy the fall season at one of my favorite places in the STL area! This event is at the Muckerman Shelter in Greensfelder Park. It's a cool, old pavilion with a bunch of great hiking trails all around it.

For the potluck element, bring any movie related dish you can think of! If you're not a cook, bring yourself and enjoy the food! In lieu of a dish, we ask that you pay $10 to cover the materials and pavilion rental fee. That can be paid here: Pay Here or in person with cash. If you're a Patreon member you get in for free! Beverages are BYOB.

Once it starts getting dark we'll drive over to Creepyworld, America's Biggest and Longest Haunted Screampark, to get our haunted house fix for the year! You can buy GA Any Night tickets HERE
