What we’re about
Sunday Assembly is a secular community which meets monthly to hear great talks, engage in service projects, and celebrate this one life we know we have.
~What happens at Sunday Assembly?~
A primary event is the Sunday Assembly service which takes place every month on the second Sunday at 11 AM. It consists of a reading (usually a poem), an interesting talk (that fits into live better, help often, or wonder more), a moment of reflection and an address, which sums up the day and hopefully gives a take home message. We have coffee and lunch to encourage people to stay and mingle with one another.
Outside of the event we organize small groups (Smoups) and other social activities such as book clubs, game nights, peer-to-peer support and local volunteering, parties and many other community building activities.
