Ever feel alone even when you’re surrounded by people? Tired of showing up to an event and struggling to figure out where your group is—or finding that everyone has already broken off into little cliques?
Takin’ It Easy is meant to be different.
Our focus isn’t just on what we’re doing; it’s on the people we’re doing it with. Whether you’re attending your first event or you’ve been with us for a while, our goal is to create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where people can meet, talk, laugh, and actually get to know one another.
Our organizers make a point of welcoming new members, introducing themselves, and helping people feel included. You shouldn’t have to already know someone to feel like you belong.
And we like variety! Our events can include coffee meetups, dinners and lunches, concerts, bowling, outdoor activities, volunteering, local attractions, and just about anything else that gives people a reason to get together and enjoy themselves.
There’s enough stress and negativity in everyday life. Takin’ It Easy is a place to leave some of that at the door, meet some good people, try something new, and—as the name says—take it easy.
