The Odyssey
Director Christopher Nolan returns to direct a big scale adaptation of the Ancient Greek epic. Odysseus must travel home to Ithaca after fighting in the Trojan war. His journey however is perilous, with various elements, gods, and monsters trying to vanquish him before he can reunite with his wife Penelope and his son. Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Mia Goth are included in an all-star cast.

Stellar reviews for this film by Sophy Romvari, based in-part by her own childhood. An acclaimed Nigerian film set in 1993. The country is going through political turmoil amidst contested elections. In this landscape two young boys are surprised to see their absentee father, Folarin. They plead to spend time with him, but he has to travel to Lagos.
