The Gentleman GM Experience Point

WHO ARE WE  & WHAT WE DO:  Welcome to the Gentleman Gamemaster's Experience Point (GGM XP) where we facilitate D&D and other fantasy/sci-fi role-playing games. Our Game Masters cater to both newcomers and veterans!
Our aim is to offer a comfortable and inviting space not just for playing games, but for truly experiencing them. For our Game Masters (GMs), D&D and other role-playing games go beyond mere entertainment – they serve as vehicles for self-expression, team building, community building, and creating emotionally unforgettable experiences.
Whether you're seeking a casual game or a full-on campaign, we extend an invitation to join our beginner-friendly D&D (5th edition) group. Our games empower players to shape the adventure's course, and everything you need is provided.

Purpose:
Our primary objective is to facilitate collaborative adventure-based storytelling through Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs). We are dedicated to delivering well-crafted games that entertain and foster friendly, safe, and welcoming environments for all players. This code of conduct outlines our expectations and consequences for unacceptable behavior within our community.
Expected Behavior:

• Players should come prepared to have fun while being respectful to others.
• All participants have the right to express their opinions and should listen respectfully, even when differing.
• Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.
• Game Masters are considered artists, and their creative voice is encouraged without censorship. Games may cover mature subjects; the Game Master should communicate this, allowing players to opt-out if uncomfortable.
• Specific sensitive subjects like hate crimes, rape, domestic and child abuse should be avoided in club games.

Unacceptable Behavior:

• Verbal abuse or attacking fellow table members during disagreements is not tolerated.
• Offensive comments based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or politics are not allowed.
• Condescending or belittling communication from players or Game Masters is unacceptable.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior:

• First offense: Verbal warning.
• Subsequent offenses: Consequences may range from temporary suspension from a specific table to permanent banning from the group.

Reporting Guidelines:
Report any perceived violations to your Game Master. If uncomfortable or if the issue involves a Game Master, contact the head Game Master, Malcolm, for prompt assistance.
