About us
This is a monthly horror book club for readers who want stories that linger long after the last page.
This group is perfect for Stephen King lovers, cult classics, and new indie releases. Book suggestions and voting take place in our WhatsApp group chat.
We meet at the end of each month for roughly 2 hours to discuss the book in a relaxed, conversational setting. No pressure to speak a lot or to finish every page. Thoughtful vibes over academic analysis. Location will be centered in the East Bay (Berkeley/Oakland), but any ghoul who is willing to drive is always welcomed. If the group is full and you need to join the waitlist, you are still welcomed to come.
Occasionally, we'll also plan group outings to local horror events, such as movie screenings and theatrical performances. Our WhatsApp group chat is a great place to coordinate these optional outings, share a horror movie you just watched, or chat about all things horror between meetings.
