Calling all Glaswegian nerds and geeks!
We're looking to hold a monthly get together in Glasgow for like-minded individuals who enjoy all things geeky - Sci-fi, Doctor Who, Star Trek (and Wars!), Harry Potter, Marvel, DC, anime, cosplay, comics, board games etc.
The idea is to meet up, have a drink or two, get to know each other and make some new friends in and around the city.

The Rules
• Please only mark RSVP if you're going to attend any event.
• We want everybody to feel safe so if you experience any difficulties with another member of the group, either in person or through messages on here, please let us know immediately and we will help
• If you cancel your RSVP within hours of the event with no explanation, or don't show up, you will be removed from the group.
• No spam, trolling, flaming etc on the group or in the comments.
• We ask that your profile picture is a picture of you, otherwise we won't accept.
• Most of our events are in bars or pubs or feature themes meant for mature audiences, ages 18+ only

See all- Rich's Roleplaying Games Oneshot Club - Index Card RPG (2 tables)The Gamer Club, Glasgow
Open to all, the fourth (of many?) Roleplaying Games nights. We'll play a different game system each time.
Next up will be Index Card RPG - like DnD but super streamlined, and a great introduction to the hobby to new players. It allows for simple character creation, movement, combat, or the creation of encounters and plots for stories.
Arrive at 6pm for a 6:30pm start.
We'll aim to finish by 10pm at the latest.If this event proves popular, we'll add more tables - everyone who comes along will get to play.
This will be a one-shot: a self-contained adventure we can complete in a single evening. No previous experience needed - all welcome!
We'll make Level 1 characters together as part of the game, (it's super quick!) but if you know what you're doing, feel free to bring along something you've made earlier.
At my tables we use pronouns and make sure everyone else feels safe and happy. No exceptions.
The Gamer Club is an unlicenced venue so feel free to bring along some soft drinks, beers or a bottle of wine - or if you prefer, there is free tea and coffee at the venue.

- Blood on the ClocktowerThe Gamer Club, Glasgow
We'll be playing Blood on the Clocktower, a party game of murder and mystery, for up to twenty players. This game will be hosted by Mark.
Please arrive on time otherwise you may not get to play. There will be a 15 minute grace period for RSVP’s to arrive, after which we may give your space to someone else. If you are going to be late please let us know and we will try to keep your space.
Game 1 will feature Trouble Brewing, a script designed for new players and a soft introduction into the social deduction genre. Game 2 will be players choice.

We're hosted by The Gamer Club - if you haven't been before, it's a purpose built venue for geek meetups - there is a video games lounge, arcade, kitchen/bar and board game room.
The venue isn't licenced, but you are welcome to bring your own beer/wine/soft drinks (or help yourself to the free teas/coffees).
