Welcome to The Latin Lovers Language Social Club. This group is for anyone who has ever been curious about Latin, whether you studied it years ago in school and want to dust off your skills, or you are just starting to learn the basics. We believe that Latin should be a living, breathing language, and our goal is to bring together people who enjoy reading, speaking, and discussing the language in a relaxed and friendly environment.
We meet regularly to practice our translation skills, read through classical texts, and explore the history and culture behind the words. There is no pressure to be an expert here; we are all learning together and support each other as we work through the nuances of the language.
