- The parent. Not the child. Your children are socializing at a perfectly normal rate and are, in fact, warmly invited to every Expedition. It is you we are worried about.
Somewhere between the first ultrasound and last Tuesday, most of us quietly stopped having friends.
Nothing dramatic happened. Nobody left. The group text just went quiet, the standing thing stopped standing, and one day you look up and your entire social calendar is other people's children's birthday parties at a trampoline facility.
This is a club for parents who noticed.
Who it's for? Any parent in central Vermont who would like more adult friends. Married, partnered, divorced, solo, widowed, or something harder to summarize; we don't collect it and it isn't relevant.
What happens? Let's figure that part out together.
What this is not? This is not a support group and not a dating group. Nobody will ask what happened, invite you to share, or arrange you into a circle.
Coming for the first time? Good, me too. There is nothing to sign and no one to notify. And if arriving alone into a room of strangers is the specific thing standing in your way (which is, after all, the entire condition we are named for) write first and someone will watch for you at the door.
