Welcome to The Wild Table!

The Wild Table is a community for curious diners, food lovers, and adventurous spirits who believe that sharing a meal is one of life's greatest pleasures. Whether we're discovering Calgary's newest restaurants, revisiting local favorites, exploring hidden gems, or gathering around a table for good conversation, our goal is simple: connect great people through great food.

This group is more than just dining out. It's about community, learning, laughter, and creating memorable experiences together. Everyone is welcome, whether you're a seasoned foodie, new to the city, or simply looking to meet interesting people who enjoy good company.

The Wild Table is a labor of love, and keeping our Meetup group active comes with an annual cost of approximately $400 in subscription fees. To help cover these expenses, you'll occasionally see fundraising events or optional contribution opportunities posted throughout the year.
If you've enjoyed the group, met new friends, discovered great restaurants, or simply appreciate having this community available, please consider contributing when you're able. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated.

100% of funds collected will go toward the costs of running the Meetup group. If we raise more than is needed for the annual subscription, any extra funds will be put right back into the community through member appreciation events and small treats at gatherings, such as shared appetizers or other fun surprises.

My hope is that this remains a fair and reasonable way for all of us to help support a group that brings people together around great food, good conversation, and memorable experiences.
