## 🌿 The Sober Rebel Club for System-Impacted Women — Bay Area

Alcohol-Free • Wellness • Nature • Connection • Community
Welcome, Rebel.
This is a dedicated alcohol-free community for women who are choosing a sober lifestyle and want a genuine connection without substances.
The Sober Rebel Club is a trauma-informed, women-led space rooted in nervous-system safety, healing, movement, and meaningful friendship — without alcohol.
This is not a general wellness or social group.
It is a sober container designed to support women who are living alcohol-free and want a community that truly aligns with that choice.

## 🧡 Who This Group Is For

This group is for women who:
✔️ Are living alcohol-free
✔️ Are sober or in recovery
✔️ Are system-impacted (incarceration, rehab, group homes)
✔️ Are healing from trauma, burnout, or anxiety
✔️ Want friendships that don’t revolve around drinking
✔️ Value nervous-system safety and real connection
✔️ Are committed to a sober lifestyle
This group is not for social drinking, “moderation,” or substance-neutral spaces.
You don’t need to label yourself or have a specific sobriety timeline —
but participation does require choosing not to drink.

## 🔥 Why “Sober Rebel”?

Because choosing sobriety in a culture that glamorizes alcohol is radical.
Because women deserve peace, clarity, and safety.
Because we heal faster when we’re supported — not pressured.
This isn’t about deprivation.
It’s about reclaiming your nervous system, your energy, and your life.

This is a welcoming space for all sober women — whether you’re new to SUP or it’s your weekly soul reset.

🌊 SUP Details

SUP Rental: $30/hour (paid directly to HMB Kayak at check-in) unless you have your own gear. 😉
Please arrive by 9:45 AM so we can check in, grab boards, and get on the water by 10 AM sharp (winter hours mean early launch!).

📄 IMPORTANT:
Before the event, please read the document:
How to Come Prepared for SUP Class.
It includes clothing tips, safety notes, and what to expect on the water.

If you have questions, contact Vanessa directly anytime!

🍳 Breakfast at Ketch Joanne’s

After paddling, we’ll head over to Ketch Joanne’s to refuel, warm up, and enjoy community time.
Estimated breakfast cost: ~$30 per person (depending on your order).

Breakfast is optional — come for SUP, breakfast, or both!

⚠️ Weather Note

Sometimes Mother Nature has her own plans, especially with wind conditions later in the morning.
If we can’t paddle safely:
✨ We will still meet for breakfast
✨ We’ll go for a relaxing walk along the water

Connection comes first — the activity may shift, but the sisterhood stays. 💛

💛** Final Notes**
