Thank you for having joined the Calm Oasis Meetup group. I wanted to share an update so that information is clear and transparent.

I have decided to pause my Meetup Organizer subscription for now, which means the Calm Oasis group on Meetup will rest for a while.
This choice simply reflects where energy and resources need to be placed, while keeping Calm Oasis donation based, open, and accessible.

Thursday Zoom sessions will continue from 6–7pm CST. You are welcome in whatever way feels natural — joining when the moment calls, staying quietly connected, or carrying the spirit of Calm Oasis in your own rhythm. When you want to join a session, please keep my email so I can send you an invite.

Calm Oasis Sessions A quiet hour to rest, breathe, and settle. The sessions format is designed to be accessible, predictable, and deeply relaxing.

About the Session: Calm Oasis is a space where you can simply arrive and follow along. Calm Oasis is a quiet, supportive environment where you can settle in and follow a simple guided experience. No experience is needed. No sharing is necessary. Just get comfortable settle in and listen.
During the Session: A brief session opening and preparation by host. He will be the only person on screen Each session begins with an easy breathwork process then passive full body relaxation. Transitioning next to guided story or imagery (different each week). Then closing words and a gentle exit at the end of session.

How the Space Works: The session is fully guided and beginner friendly. Cameras remain off, giving you a quiet space. To just settle into your own stillness, unseen and unhurried, with room to simply breathe. Mics stay muted to keep the room quiet. No introductions or group discussions are necessary. No expectations, no “doing it right.” You may come late or leave early. Though for the best experience plan to attend from start to finish. Over time, consistent participation can create cumulative, often unexpected benefits — subtle shifts in overall well‑being.

What Helps setup: Choose a comfortable position — sitting or lying down. Find a quiet safe place where you won’t be interrupted. Headphones or earbuds are a benefit, but they are optional. A blanket, pillow, or anything else that will enhance your overall comfort for during the session and beyond. You may choose to linger in your space a little while longer, before resuming your day.
