π€β€γ €Here's the deal. You're an "N." As an Intuitive you make up the 25% of the population who thinks differently than most people. Not to bash those who prefer to talk about sports ball and the weather, but a lot of your interactions with other people just feel superficial. Sound like you? Great! This is the Meetup for you.
π The events we host around the Research Triangle area are meant to serve as a social outlet for MBTI intuitives interested in meeting fellow like-minded intuitives.
βΉοΈ By "Intuitive" we mean that our group caters to people who test as "Intuitive" on the Myers-Briggs Personality test (MBTI). If the second letter in your 4-letter type is "N," then you are Intuitive. This includes the following types: ENFP, ENTP, INFJ, INTJ, ENFJ, ENTJ, INFP, and INTP.
π‘ Intuitives tend to be more figurative (as opposed to literal), more imaginative (as opposed to realistic), more future-focused (as opposed to present), and more abstract (as opposed to concrete). We enjoy talking about concepts, exploring ideas, and having intellectual conversations.
π§ If you've never taken an MBTI personality test, you can take the free version of the test on the 16Personalities website ahead of one of our events (not mandatory, but encouraged).
π¬ As a Myers-Briggs minority, it can be more difficult for Intuitive types to find a steady group of like-minded individuals. Our Meetups attract some of the most interesting people and intriguing conversations of any other Meetup in RDU (or so we've been told over the years). Come out to our next social event to make some new friends! There are no expectations. Just show up and have a great time with people that think like you.

π Cosmic Views from the Durham
The Roof at the Durham Hotel, 315 E Chapel Hill St, Durham, NC, USπͺ Join Triangle Intuitives as we tap into the cosmic energy of the night sky for an evening of stargazing alongside astronomy experts from Morehead Planetarium and Science Center.
β¨ The Morehead Planetarium and Science Center will be setting up multiple telescopes at the Roof at The Durham hotel and and pointing them at various celestial bodies for the public to enjoy and learn. Obviously this event is weather dependent. We will try to get there a little early to find an area to sit. The stargazing portion of the event officially starts at 8:30pm.
βΌοΈ To get to the the Roof lounge enter the Durham hotel at the front entrance and go left to the elevator. Take the elevator to the top floor. Turn left and go through the doors to find the group wearing nametags.
π There is a parking deck and surface lot across the street that is usually free after 7pm.
ποΈ This is event is free to the public but can apparently get pretty busy so we've capped the attendee limit at 30. Make sure you definitely plan on being there before hitting RSVP below.
