Everett Crowley Park Environmental Stewardship

The Everett Crowley Park Committee humbly acknowledges that the work we do takes place on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples.
Join the Everett Crowley Park Committee for a stewardship event to help remove invasive plants and learn more about the unique history and ecology of Everett Crowley Park. Gloves, tools and light refreshments are provided. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy, close-toed shoes. Weather permitting. The exact work site for this event is to be confirmed.
Please pre-register via the link provided. Meet at the front entrance to the Champlain Heights Community Centre (3350 Maquinna Dr) at 10AM so we can walk down together.

Jericho Stewardship Group - July Work Party
Jericho Beach Park, 3941 Point Grey Rd, Vancouver, BC, CAJoin us at Jericho Park for JSG's July Work Party. We will work on expanding our invasive-free area around our plantings!
This Sunday, a few nature enthusiasts will also be sharing information about trees, birds & more that are special to Jericho.

Please bring sturdy boots and dress for the weather, as we will likely get muddy, rain or shine. Please bring water to stay hydrated while you are working. Coffee & snacks are available at the break!

Learn about the unique and complex history of the park and how it's history has shaped the ecology and space it is today. On this walk, you will be led by long term ECPC volunteers who will share their rich in depth knowledge of Everett Crowley Park and the surrounding Champlain Heights Neighbourhood.
This is an opportunity to learn more about Indigenous and invasive plants, restoration efforts in Everett Crowley Park, and the role of community stewardship in ecological recovery.
