About us
A local community for people building things with AI, together.
2nd Saturday of each month. 10:00 to 12:00. Bru, Granby Street, Leicester.
This is a group for anyone using AI tools to build apps, websites, automations, workflows, or whatever's rattling around in your head. Whether you're a total beginner who's just discovered you can make real software by chatting with AI, or you've been shipping side projects and want some people to nerd out with, you'll fit right in.
What to expect
Open to all. We support each other, stay open-minded, and learn together. You don't need a background in tech. Some of the best AI builders right now are people who know a real problem from the inside: from sales, marketing, HR, teaching, trades, healthcare, and everywhere in between. If you've got a problem worth solving and the curiosity to try, you're exactly who this is for.
Building together
Bring a laptop, bring an idea, or just bring yourself. We work in small groups and mix show-and-tell, honest feedback, and hands-on build sessions with casual conversation over coffee. We kick off each session with a quick intro round so everyone can find the people working on similar things.
Sharing knowledge
What's working, what's not, which tools are worth the hype, and how to go from a cool demo to something with real value.
If your plans change, please update your RSVP to give someone else a chance to attend.
We've also just started a WhatsApp community. You can join using this link: https://chat.whatsapp.com/COvDmZM0TDJHT4m4ipt1BK
Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
See you soon,

Vibe Code Social - Leicester
Bru Coffee Shop, Granby Street (next door to the old Turkey Cafe), Leicester, GBA local community for people building things with AI, together.
11 July 2026 · 10:00 to 12:00 · Bru, Granby Street, Leicester (upstairs)
Vibe Code Social is a relaxed, practical meetup for people using AI tools to build apps, websites, automations, workflows, prototypes, side projects, or ideas they are still figuring out.
The first sessions had exactly the kind of energy we hoped for: people chatting, sharing what they are building, asking questions, helping each other, comparing tools, and making useful local connections.
So we are keeping that same open, social feel, with just enough structure to help people settle in and get value from the morning.
You do not need a traditional tech background. Beginners are very welcome. But this is a hands-on session, so please come ready to explore, build, share, or ask for help.
As a minimum, please bring:
- a laptop or suitable device
- access to at least one AI/vibe coding tool, such as Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Windsurf, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, or similar
- an idea, project, problem, workflow, or thing you are curious about building
It does not need to be polished. Half-built, messy, early-stage and 'I don't know where to start' are all fine.
What to expect
A relaxed room of builders
There will be a mix of people: some technical, some non-technical, some shipping projects, and some just starting out. The common thread is curiosity and a willingness to try things.Bring what you're working on
You might discuss a project, talk through an idea, ask for help with a blocker, compare tools, pair with someone, or sit and build.A quick intro round to kick things off
We'll start with a short welcome from me, then a quick go-round so everyone can say who they are, what they're building, what they're using, what problem they're trying to solve, and what they'd like to get out of the session. It's a friendly way to find the people working on similar things. Then the room opens up
After intros, we keep it fairly open. We'll pair people up where there's a shared interest or someone in the room with relevant experience, run a small show-and-tell around the laptops for anyone who wants to share, and otherwise let people move between chatting, building in pairs or small groups, getting help, or quietly making progress on their own thing. Sociable and practical, not forced networking.Bru are kindly offering us the space for free, so if you can, a £5 spend at the bar is appreciated.
If your plans change, please update your RSVP so someone else can attend.
Any questions ahead of the event, feel free to reach out. We've also just started a WhatsApp community. You can join using this link: https://chat.whatsapp.com/COvDmZM0TDJHT4m4ipt1BK
