About us

Welcome to the Vibrant Women’s Community! 🌞🌺🍀
We are a group of women connecting, enjoying curated events together, creating friendships through shared experiences

We gather for:
🍝 Lunches — at local restaurants
☕ Coffee Chats
🚶‍♀️ Walks in local parks and trails
🧶🎨 Creative workshops and crafting sessions
🍴🥧 Sack lunches, Potlucks, and 🎄🎃🎈🎉 holiday celebrations
🌸 Field trips to local flower farms in spring, vineyards in summer, and cultural events year-round.

We are committed to making our events a Political Discussion Free Zone (PDFZ). We come together to celebrate what we share and to learn from our differences, creating a welcoming space for growth, connection, and inclusion with minimal drama.

The Vibrant Women’s Community is designed to be a collaborative, community-driven group rather than one centered around a single organizer’s schedule. As the primary organizer, I currently host events during weekday daytime hours, which aligns with my availability.

That said, this group is intentionally open to member-led events. Any member who is interested in hosting, planning, or organizing events for the community is welcome and encouraged to do so. This includes evenings, weekends, or any other times that suit your schedule and interests.

If you would like to host an event or have ideas you would enjoy bringing to the group, please feel free to reach out.

Shared hosting allows the community to offer a wider range of events while remaining welcoming, flexible, and sustainable for everyone involved.

Please be mindful when signing up for events. If you’ve RSVP’d “Going” and your plans change, please update your reservation as soon as possible so another member can attend. Many of our gatherings have waitlists, and this small courtesy helps keep things running smoothly for everyone.

No-shows and last-minute cancellations inconvenience event organizers and waitlisted members who miss out on attending.
Attendance Matters
To help keep our community thriving and fair for everyone, we keep track of attendance.
If you are unable to attend an event, please update your RSVP to "Not Going" as soon as possible, even if it's at the last minute.
When a member fails to update their RSVP for a waitlisted event, another member loses the opportunity to attend. No-shows may result in removal from the community.

We understand that genuine emergencies happen. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from updating your RSVP, either let the event host know as soon as you're able or leave a message in the comments on the event page.

If you are ever removed due to attendance, you're welcome to request to rejoin in the future when your schedule allows you to reliably manage your RSVPs.

Please **IGNORE all of Meetups pesky asks for you to "donate" for fundraising for our group!! I have no idea where any of that money goes if collect under that premise!! **

Dues Collection & Payment Details:

New member applications are not being accepted at this time while we navigate the two-month rollout of our group dues. Please submit a your application after October 1st, 2026.

As of July 26, 2026, the Vibrant Women’s Community has completed setting up our annual member dues structure directly on the Meetup platform.

Automated Reminder: A 60-day free trial period has been enabled before any charges begin.

Approximately three days before your dues are to be collected, the Meetup platform will automatically send you an email notification. This reminder will confirm the exact date that the $6 annual dues will be charged to your saved payment method on Meetup.

Payment Processing & Account Status:
Dues are processed directly and securely through the Meetup platform using a credit or debit card. If a valid payment method is not on file when dues are set to be collected, Meetup will automatically update your status, and your account will be removed from the Vibrant Women’s Community roster.

Rejoining: If your membership is dropped for this reason, you are always welcome to re-apply and rejoin! (If you run into unique technical difficulty setting up a payment method on the platform, please reach out to me directly in a private message.) I prefer texting over messaging within the Meetup app.
