This group is dedicated to creating and maintaining trails in the Town of Victor, NY. These trails are open to the public - check out http://victorhikingtrails.org/vhtmap.php. Additionally, the group leads hikes that anyone may attend. Want to build a bridge, construct a boardwalk or chase down invasive species? Join us and explore the outdoors with a group dedicated to getting ourselves and others in touch with nature on many levels.

Library Director Tim Niver and super library volunteer Barb Starr lead a bird watching hike at Fishers Park at the peak of spring migration. We'll search for a variety of migrants including warblers, thrushes, vireos, plus a number of other birds. Learn to identify birds by sound and sight. Fishers Park offers many different types of habitat that attract different types of birds, so there is an opportunity to see a wide assortment. We'll be out for a couple of hours. Bring binoculars, dress for the weather, and wear footwear for possible muddy trails. Meet at the Main St. entrance of Fishers Park at 9am. Registration required, attendance limited.
