Welcome to the VRBL
Come join a friendly, co-ed group of mixed abilities and ages, where the priority is simply to play fun games with no score-keeping, have a good workout, and get a little socialization! We've been around for around 20 years and are looking for more men and women to join.
Events
- Games are at 8pm on Saturdays. Arrive 5 - 10 minutes prior to the game so we don't lose any play time
- We typically divide into 8v8 teams, but can vary slightly depending on attendance.
- Cost is $12 to cover the field rental. Please send payment by 5pm Friday to confirm attendance, or your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist. Only pay if you have a spot on the Going list.

- Cancel your RSVP in a timely manner if you can't make it, so someone else can take your slot
Venue
We play at the indoor field house at South Run Rec Center in Springfield. It has a nice artificial turf surface.
Rules
- Wear a white or dark shirt, but bring one of each.
- No aggressive play or slide tackles. Be considerate of your fellow players.
- Turf shoes are allowed, but no hard cleats.
- Shin guards are not required, but are recommended
- Participants play at their own risk. Even in a less competitive environment, injuries can still happen.
- Exceptions to the over-30 age requirement may occasionally be granted, but only with approval in advance by the organizer.
