The name says it all: We should be social.
This group is for people who believe that being social is important, so the aim of this group is to create the opportunity for people to meet each other, share in activities, and build a community of people who share the same values:
- Interpersonal connection is important for a happy, healthy life.
- We should learn to be better at connecting with others.
- Family relationships are important.
- Workers should be treated with humanity.
- We should help those who need social support.
- There should be places for communities to gather and connect.
- & all of this should be fun!
This group is for anyone on the Central Coast who believes in the power of social connections and the importance of being social in this digital age. Whether you're looking to meet new people, try new activities, or just have a good time, we should be social is the place for you!

We Should Hike - Orcutt Hill

Meet and stretch 9:30-10am.
Orcutt Hill is a great little hike. Can be 45min-2hours depending on what trails you want to take. There are some great views of the Santa Maria Valley all the way to Guadalupe Beach!
Whether you came to The Art of Connection workshop or you're just looking to meet kind, interesting people in the area, this is a chance to get outside, have good conversations, and make some new friends.
We'll take an easy-to-moderate loop through the trails, pause at a few scenic overlooks, and let conversations happen naturally along the way. No awkward icebreakers or pressure—just a friendly group of people enjoying the outdoors together.What to bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Water
- Sun protection
- A positive attitude
Dogs are welcome if they're friendly and comfortable around other people and dogs.
We'll meet at the trailhead near Orcutt Community Park and head out together. The trail is approximately 3–4 miles with some moderate hills and beautiful views of the Santa Maria Valley. Orcutt Trails
