Evening Hike - Johnson Ranch Loop
Johnson Ranch Trailhead, 5190 Ontario Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA, USJoin us for an evening hike on the beautiful Johnson Ranch loop trail, which is comprised of rolling grassy hills, serpentine rocks, oak trees, and some moderately challenging ascents and descents. There can be loose gravel on the trail, so shoes with good tread are recommended.
The Johnson Ranch Open Space comprises 242 acres of old ranch land just south of San Luis Obispo.

- Pace: moderate to brisk
- Due to the ever-changing microclimate, layers are recommended
- Bring water, sun protection, and shoes with good tread

Pismo Preserve: Spring to Spring
Parking | Pismo Preserve Trail, 80 Mattie Rd, Pismo Beach, CA, USJoin us for a fun hike on the Spring-to Spring trail at Pismo Preserve. This trail goes through the middle section of the preserve and will take us about 1.5 hours to complete.
⚠️️ Rain cancels this event. It's that time of year. We'll keep you posted here.
⚠️️ There's a new parking fee. LCSLO, the nonprofit that maintains Pismo Preserve, charges $5 per car (or $50 for an annual pass). Pay at the kiosk or with the ParkMobile app. You can also park for free across the highway on Price St, less than 10 minutes away on foot. Arrive early to find parking.

Sycamore Crest Trail to Ontario (Avila) Ridge
Bob Jones City to the Sea Bike Trail Park & Ride, Ontario Road, San Luis Obispo, CA, USWe will start our journey down the Bob Jones bike path, then cross over to the Sycamore Crest trail where we will hike up to Ontario (Avila) Ridge. Depending on the marine layer, we hope to have amazing ocean views from the top of the ridge. Please arrive early to stretch or find parking.

- Elevation gain: About 700 feet, mostly in the second mile
- Type: Out & back
- Pace: moderate to brisk at times
- Bring water and layers, depending on the weather.
