Weekend Hikers and Beyond, WeHike.org, is a volunteer-led group passionate about hiking in SLO County and the Central Coast of California. In spite of our name, we host day hikes on weekends and weekdays at varying skill levels.

Moonrise Mindful Meander / Estero Bluffs
Location not specified yetJoin us for an easy, slow-paced, mindful meander - mostly in silence -along Montana de Oro on the Bluff Trail as traces of sunset afterglow fade away and the rise of the nearly full "Wolf Moon" comes into brilliance (99% illumination). We'll take time to pause and enjoy the beauty above, below, and all around us. This is a wonderful stress buster! (Rain or the "threat" of rain cancels.)

Note there are 4 different parking lots- this is the northern most one.
MORE ABOUT THE MINDFULNESS EXPERIENCE:
- Guidance and suggestions will be shared to help participants stay mindfully present, engage the senses, and deepen your connection with the restorative energy of the moon and all the earthly elements.
- The walk will be mostly in silence to allow for the body and mind to ground and clear, and awareness to sharpen.
- There will also be with moments for sitting meditation and optional sharing reflections with the group.
- No prior meditation or mindfulness practice is necessary.

Challenging Bishop at Peak Hike
Bishop Peak & Felsman Loop Trailhead Patricia Street Entrance, 787 Patricia Dr, San Luis Obispo, CA, USBring your sense of adventure and sturdy footwear for a challenging hike to the top of Bishop Peak, one of the area’s most popular, scenic, and rocky hiking destinations. Optionally, join us for dinner at Laguna Grill after the hike.

⚠️ Bishop Peak is the most rugged of our regular hikes. Expect significant gains over uneven terrain.

Pismo Preserve: Spring to Spring
Parking | Pismo Preserve Trail, 80 Mattie Rd, Pismo Beach, CA, USJoin us for a fun hike on the Spring-to Spring trail at Pismo Preserve. This trail goes through the middle section of the preserve and will take us about 1.5 hours to complete.

⚠️️ There's a new parking fee. LCSLO, the nonprofit that maintains Pismo Preserve, charges $5 per car (or $50 for an annual pass). Pay at the kiosk or with the ParkMobile app. You can also park for free across the highway on Price St, less than 10 minutes away on foot. Arrive early to find parking.
