The Splatter Experience allows you to dive straight into the artistic experience. Invite your family and friends to join you, as the splatter room has space for 10 individuals per session. Your registration will give you 30 minutes in the splatter room. Acrylic paint, canvas and disposable gear included. Add-Ons are additional and can be purchased at check-in. Individual reservations will share the room with other registered individual’s, unless you booked a party.

Note: Arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow for parking, check in and suiting up in gear. Participants 2 - 8 yrs require an adult to be in the paint room (gear observer: $5.00). Participants under the age of 15 will require one parent/ adult to remain on site.

FROM THE VENUE:
Bring your love of the Alaska Botanical Garden home to your own garden by painting one of our locally made garden gnomes! These 3D printed gnomes stand nearly six inches tall. We will discuss color blending, how to create different shades, and texture techniques as we bring these characters to life with many vibrant colors to choose from. This class is appropriate for all ages and skill levels alike. All materials are included, just bring yourself and a whimsical attitude! There is a $2 cancellation fee for all cancellations. No refunds given with less than 48 hours notice.

Stephanie Leigh Buen believes in continually creating and attempts to constantly challenge herself to new designs. Stephanie is a local painter, actress, and art instructor. Initially self taught, she has been learning as an artist for over twenty years. She has taught art lessons for prior venues such as Kaleidoscape, The Alaska Fine Arts Academy, and currently runs art workshops for Raven Homeschool. She took over Palette just over a year ago and loves watching others create as much as she loves creating art for herself. She truly believes everyone has some form of artistic talent within them, and it is a joy helping nourish that passion in others.

BUBBLES WITH A MISSION
A portion of the Bubble Run proceeds to our events go towards research, funding, and treatment to families that are battling childhood cancer and terminal illness.

WHAT IS THE BUBBLE RUN?
Participants run, walk, dance and play across 3 miles rad real estate. Foam Bogs of colored suds are encountered along the course, bringing back memories of car washes and bathtub bubble beards. Other than the fact that they’re serious about having fun, runners in the BUBBLE RUN™ range from first timers (plenty) to seasoned competitors. But there’s no race clock, no timing chips, no ESPN coverage. Take your time and don’t worry about setting a PR. But if you must, time your run with your own device. It’s cool.
